English comedy, this Saturday at Molly Malone’s!!

Tags: Uncategorized — Author: @ 1:50 pm

Molly Malone’s hosts Helsinki’s official St. Patrick’s Day celebrations each year. Saturday evening is a comedy night, the show is entirely in English. I’ll be doing about 10-15 minutes of mostly-all-new material along with Mikko Iranshahi and host, Nickolay Antonov.

Show kicks off around 9pm, should last maybe 45 minutes or so. No admission charge.

It’s going to be great night of comedy and drinking! :-)

Be sure to RSVP on the Facebook page:

Hope to see you there!!

  • wannabe Irish

When the Irish go to a Pub they dance on tables, sing along and have fun. When Finns go to a Pub they just sit quietly and look depressed. I’m actually keen to know what kind of St. Patrick day Molly Malone’s has. People sit in tables and look depressed? Or is there dancing and singing like in Ireland?

Thank fuck I’m not in Ireland

  • ohsosad

No, I’m sure all Finns at Molly’s are going to be very unhappy and look depressed. They won’t talk to anyone and at the end of the evening, they’ll
    a) be thrown out of the pub for being too drunk
    b) will quietly walk home and shoot their families and finally, themselves.

    Finland sucks, Ireland rules.

It’s gonna suck. You shouldn’t come.

To find happy Finns you must go to America.

    “Finland sucks, Ireland rules.”

    No. Finns suck, Irish rule.

Dancing on tables is reserved for Rymy Eetu.

No, I’m sure all Irish at Molly’s are going to be very superficially happy and smile uncomfortably. They will talk to anyone who is willing to listen to their crap and at the end of the evening, they’ll
    a) be thrown out of the pub for being too drunk
    b) will quietly walk home and shoot the families of protestants and finally, hide like cowards.

Ireland rules in the league of sheep fucking.

Which is still better than anything what you can do in Finland, part from sauna of course.

    great comeback there #16

Dancing on the tables? There is a place in Oulu, where you can do that but I don’t know what’s the point going there to watch out for falling drunks not to spill your beer.

I think the point was that the Irish go out to have fun and Finns go out to get drunk. Finns tend to trust in the kind of philosophy that alcohol doesn’t fix your problems but neither does milk. From what I’ve seen the Irish are usually open and friendly. A Finn will tell you to fuck off my table.
