LOL!! This church is hysterical. Finns are a bunch of Godless people? I know!! That’s one of the reasons why I love Finland so much!
They attempted to do this last year in Finland, but according to them, it’s illegal to picket “God Hates Fags” in Finland (is it?). Now they’re picketing outside the Finnish consulate in Oregon.

Anyway, there were 4 or 5 people there protesting, the girls were 16, 17 and 25 years old. Would have thought teh 16 year would have been in school? These people were nice, but very very nieve. They had no idea way they were there. They kept repeating over and over again, probably what their dad told them to say…

Yeah, there was a tv documentary of this “church” and it looked like it really is a large extended family in question. Well inbred and very very clanish too. At the top of the pile sits a grand daddy who has the full control of all these people. I bet he has more than that if he wishes with these gals… Jesus Christ!
I think it is actually against the law to demonstrate against “fags” in this country, as it is illegal to demonstrate against any faction, group or religion of people. And that is funny if these nutties really tried to come over here.
But didn’t these nuts also said that king of Sweden is going to hell too, along with our president, people and cattle? I bet their hell is much more humane place than their heaven, so reserve few seats for me too. As a practicing pagan I really want to go there.

Does anyone know if their picketing of Heath Ledger’s funeral worked out? They made a big publicity stunt after the actor’s death saying they’ll picket the funeral because he portrayed a gay character in a movie.
Cult leader Fred Phelps also seems to have anti-semitic tendencies since he used the term “Christ-rejecting Jew” in connection with a college student whose funeral was on the long list of funerals for the church to picket.
It’s interesting how this cult both hates gays and people who “reject Christ”. They’re pretty silent on Iran. After all, Iran’s religious leaders aren’t Christians. But homosexuality is punished there and the country’s president says there are no gays in Iran. I mean Phelps has this “God hates…” stuff about every country where gays have rights. So I guess he doesn’t really hate countries like Iran so much.
The obvious conclusion is that Phelps’s Christ likes those countries that are both Christian and homophobic best. Zimbabwe’s president Mugabe is a homophobic Christian. So if other countries flags get treated in a bad way by the cult, Zimbabwe’s has actually been embraced by WBC as a symbol of Christian hatred of gays.

What can I say, these people are sick. But basically they have the names of most of the countries on earth, tell each country that God hates especially them, it gets a bit nauseating in the end but they want to be seen in the media of as many countries as possible. If Croatia hasn’t gotten that much of their attention before, they might make news there if they’re lucky.

Seeing such trash as this always makes me feel a little provoked for a moment but after simply thinking about it for at least couple of seconds, I feel rather sorry for the (brainwashed) people who really seem to blindly believe in “absolute truths” they have been taught by their (sick) parents or other powerful figures at a time in their lives when they have been very receptive. When being a child and believing whatever you’re told for example. Or when they have had hard time in their lives (mental problems, anxiety, loneliness etc.) and therefore have seeked for acceptation. That’s common in every religion though. (sorry for my not-quite-good English)
