China law officials punished for fake Finnish trip
They’re like, “Damn!! We can traffic young girls through Finnish customs, but not ourselves!!”
BEIJING (Reuters) – China has punished a group of law enforcement officials who faked a letter of invitation from Finland’s justice department because they wanted to get a free tour of Europe, state media reported on Tuesday.
The group of 10, from central Anhui province’s prosecutor’s department, were deported upon arriving at Helsinki airport when Finnish officials sniffed out the ruse, the semi-official China News Service said.
[...]The main instigator, deputy head of Anhui’s prosecutor’s office Xu Wenai, was fired and thrown out of the Communist Party, it added.
The Chinese government pays for officials to go abroad, ostensibly to learn about modernisation, but in recent years there have been scandals when officials have brought along their families and used the trips only for shopping.

corruption is creeping up…a sign of the state/communist party losing the greep on the situation…or could it be that the “visible” hand is not working ….

Heh heh, sort of like the ‘visible’ hand in Finland. To enjoy life, Finns have to ‘cheat’ the system—buy cars in Germany to avoid effects of the illegal car tax, Estonia for booze and fun, safely keep investments abroad to avoid Finland’s publishing of their private financial data …

“Instant noodle makers have increased prices by up to 40 percent”
looks like inflation is out of control:
->social unrest
->no more free trip on the back of tax payer (?)

Kristian, stop linking that same tired shit every post. And “To ‘enjoy life’ Finns have to cheat the system”??!?! You materialistic swine! There’s more to life than cars and buying crap. Unbelievable. And just why should every society/country take this mass consumption model as the high point of development? This libertarian thing focusing on the individual above all else is just too narrow. Like your heavily recycled posts…

Kristian: I have enjoyd my 40 years in Finland immensely without ever buying a car in ANY country. Also, I somehow manage to enjoy life without drinking any alcohol whatsoever. I also have managed to invest in Nordea Fennia Rahasto without ever exporting my money abroad. Amazing, isn’t it?

@2: I know it’s not the firing squad, but expulsion from the Party is a pretty big deal; good-bye the good life, hello abject poverty.
@7: That sounds a wee bit racist, even if it’s targeted at the Finnish customs officials…

This Chinese whore was not caught in Finalnd but in Germany (lower taxes, happy people, lots of nazis, cheap kebab). And why does hfb write as if she wasn’t an idiot, just average-not-funny-american asshole?
