Tervetuloa | Welcome
As an American living in Finland, I started this blog six years ago to address the political and cultural issues in Finland and the United States - but lately this blog is just a place for me to make fun of Finns and Americans. :-)

Susan Kuronen poses semi-nude

Tags: Uncategorized — Author: Phil @ 10:05 pm

Our Prime Minister’s ex-lover, Susan Kuronen, needs to desperately get back into the limelight, so she’s posing semi-nude in Hymy magazine. She says that “Matti Vanhanen was a boring lover” – It’s only a matter of time before she does porn – I can’t wait…

  1. What can one say – life is obviously more colourful and fun in a welfare state!

  2. Heh, yeah this is great. She’s really improving her rep. exponentially.

  3. Yeah definitely, yellow press is so much more interesting in Finland!

Check out that poor woman on Susan’s left boob, that would be a terrible place to have your photo placed.

  7. Girlfriend really should have tried to get that alien out of her belly, before going to a photo shoot. I hope she uses the money to get a gym membership.

Merikukka Forsius has bought an SUV?! Crossed many rivers lately, Merikukka? Do you live on a mountain?

I cant decide which of these ho’s in dumber.

  8. Oh well, next week she’ll be complaining about the load of obscene phone calls she is getting and after four years how she is not taken seriously in the parliamentary elections.

  9. Oh. And I guess Matti wasn’t that bad of a lover since she’s been pissed about for like two years and been whining about ever since. NOT to forget she wrote a freakin’ book about how broken she was when he left her. God, have some self-respect and get over it already. Here’s a Conan conclusion: The prime minister was a bad lover so she has to pose semi-nude? :) That shit right there goes hand in hand ;) And if Matti ever takes her back, she’ll go all the way ?

  10. My eyes… my eyes are burning…

…”that poor woman on Susan’s left boob” is also one of Matti’s “hoito”. But of course everyone knew.

  11. You spelled my name wrong, you bastard!

  12. She should hook up with Matti Nykänen. Just think of the kids they would have.

  13. I was wondering when we would get off the usual overtaxation, US bashing topic into something more inane and interesting like Susan Kuronen et. al. I actually had to stop at the grocery line and look at the photos. Methinks they are better than the Linds Tripp photos.

  14. I think she better hit the gym.

    Free Speech, R.I.P.

    by Dymphna

The Finns aren’t the only ones having trouble with a chill wind blowing across their free speech rights — we’re about to face a big battle against the enemies of the First Amendment here in the USA, beginning tomorrow.

Mikko Ellilä is a Finnish blogger who has been summoned by the police for a hearing next week, all because of the content of his blog posts. Scroll down to our earlier posts for more information about his plight, or see posts one, two, three, and four on the topic.

Can’t happen here, you say? It very well may happen tomorrow, May 3rd.

This is why we should be afraid, very afraid of Democrat control in Congress:

The House Judiciary Committee passed a “hate crimes” bill last week.

All twenty-three Democrats voted in favor or it, and all seventeen Republicans dissented.

  17. hill billy, this post is about the afrorementioned “EXLOPMIPFIWDE” (ex-lover-of-a-prime-minister-I’d-probably-fuck-if-I-was-drunk-enough), NOT mikko the hate monger.

  19. What’s the story with him, I think I regocnize the name, some sort of fascist cum libertarian mixture, or am I completely wrong? Anyway, wasn’t there just a fresh Freedom House survey where we game on top on press freedom. So many of these surveys around where plucky little Finland leads the world! Well, of course there are more negative ones, although less – somehow those are the only ones we hear about on this site. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence, eh, Phil?

  20. I am also deeply ashamed about all the remonts in Helsinki during Eurovision.

  22. Methinks they are better than the Linds Tripp photos.

    That goes without saying.

  23. The best thing is, we can check her public tax records and learn how much she got for the pictures.

    Comment by N. Siinistö — Thu, May 3rd, 2007 @ 1:37 pm

  24. God!
I would have told the paper to take new pictures! Who the hell was the stylist?? Plus she’s got like eight chins in that position. If you feel you must parade yourself in such a manner, please, it can be done with a bit more taste!

  25. Now I’m confused after seeing item 16. Is Mikko Ellila claiming that Susan Kuronen is an example of the superiority of Christian civilization? :)

Of course, there aren’t that many documented examples of Lewinskies in the Muslim nations…

  27. This is just sad! This woman is so desperate for attention that not only did she have to write a tell-all book about her relationship with the prime minister, she also had to pose semi-nude. I wonder what her kids and the rest of her family think about all this.If I were one of her children, I would be embarrassed!
