An evening with Depeche Mode

Saw this in Helsingin Sanomat a few days ago - Tonight at Lady Moon in Helsinki (right across from the train station) they’re having “An evening with Depeche Mode” from 21-04 hosted by DJ Brinque (known for spinning 80’s new wave music around Finland). No entrance fee.

  1. I wish I had enough energy to come there after work! Fantastic music played all night long…now this is fun.

  2. If somebody can remember a singer teen sensation in Finland in the early 90’s: Janita (www.myspace.com/janitaartist) her version of the “enjoy the silence” is a master piece! She’s been leaving in NY for 10 years now. And HIM’s version about the same song is better than the original, though the original is good too =)

  3. What I love about Depeche Mode is that they are so not extremely cool (just look at the photo) that they reach the point where uncool intersects with cool, thus making them ambiguously cool. Dig?

  5. You’ve all been to that bar in Tallinn that plays nothing but Depeche Mode, right?
