   I have personaly observed a dramatic shift of Finnish peoples attitudes about America and Americans over the last 15 years on my many finland trips.
   prior to 9/11 JIHAD attack on AMERICA ,i was amazed at all the finnish people i met that said they liked america and its culture.i also could see how much American culture was evident all around Finland…
   SATANA! HOW THE TIMES HAVE CHANGED!… ;(
   Now,in finland and in all of western europe,an insane hatred of America,Bush, Americans and its culture is rampant..but we in America are watching Europian Union fall into the quagmire of *MULTICULTURALLISM* and *POLITICAL CORRECTNESS* ..when the European Union aka EURABIA falls apart America will only watch and laugh at stupity of those native people of NORDIC region who have lost the VIKING spirit ……HEI HEI! infinndel

20. I moved back to the US from Finland a while ago, and while I prefer living in the US, I really miss the Finnish sense of humor. Thanks for the laugh BigRedJohnson and JG!

    By the way, I’ve eaten reindeer, sat in a sauna many times, and probably speak better Finnish than inFINNdel, can I be an honorable Finn?

    is it any surprise that winter and innfindel hold the same views?
    neither can spell, both seem to have iq’s of 35, and both seem to be 12 year olds.

23. Yushchenko’s face looks alot better these days. He’s not the toad he was couple of years ago. Cant say the same about prez Halonen though. Man, if only bad hairstyle was an impeachable offense in Finland.

    Dont know if infinndel and winter are the same person or not, but I think both of them would find them selves more at home in “freeperland” than here.

24. Why should it matter how Halonen looks like? So what if she looks like a sad excuse for a transvestite? This superficial concentration on the looks of a female politician is such a typical sign of male chauvinism. With how many male politicians does the hub of the public speech revolve around their looks?

    Get over it. Critizise her actions or lack of but that childish “oh she’s so ugly” really doesn’t put you in a good light.

    my friend showed me the press report where finland was first before i saw it here and my reaction was, ‘political incorrectness in finland constitutes making fun of the president’s hair. you’re not going to get any death threats for that.’

    I don’t hate bush because he looks like a monkey, I hate him because he acts like one. Halonen could look like an Amazonian Tree Frog for all I care. The day we start choosing our leaders based on looks is the day Finland will go down the drain.
