Okay so it turns out that the photo in the previous post was photoshoped, but this isn’t - and does Paul have a bad odor to her or something? Is that what they’re implying with the face masks..?

They are implying that the new factory will be using the sulphide method of pulp bleaching. Visit Imatra, Oulu or Uimaharju (Eno) sometime they are having a trouble with the process or let an egg to rot in fridge.
Besides, Paula is pretty.

What’s up with the “…. to colonialist CONTRACTS” sign? Hardly seems relevant to Finland.

No no, there’s Latin America and then there’s Argentine’s Latin America.
“What’s up with the “…. to colonialist CONTRACTS†sign? ”
Maybe they think Finland’s been/is a part of the British Empire once upon a time? That would explain the political motivations for trying to stop the building of the new factory. (They hate Brits right for claiming an island outside of their coast, right?)
Either that, or they just don’t know a s*it… (it’s probably the latter)

All the more reason not to trust mass demonstrations.

Finnpundit hits it on the head. Truly amusing to watch protests of people who are supposedly marching for ”human rights” carry signs of ‘Che’, or gays holding signs reading ‘Gays for Palestine’.

Well, wait for another 10 years and you start to see a dash of beuty in many things. (Must be a built-in feature to cope with an aging significant other
But let’s not go further. I think I gave a sermon the other day to everybody about concentrating on looks of that Kokoomus girl you had on RFF.
On subject, I think the Argentinians don’t make a difference between the finns and other Gringos. It is all bloody imperialism, no matter do we like tango or have a blue and white flag. I wouldn’t be surprised either, if our 5th. column made a couple of phone calls prior to these happenings.

One definition of colonialism: “exploitation by a stronger country of weaker one; the use of the weaker country’s resources to strengthen and enrich the stronger country”

I have a kid with Down’s syndrome. She is beautiful.
Poetic justice would be if you yourself get a kid with Down’s syndrome. Even better would be if you then found your child beautiful.
Your parents who, as you often like to let it be known, taught you to be “color blind” apparently forgot to teach you not to be a bigot about genetic disorders.
