My most anticipated film of 2006

A new trailer is out for (from the man who wrote “Minority Report”, “Total Recall”, “Blade Runner”) Philip K. Dick’s “A Scanner Darkly” starring Keanu Reeves, Robert Downey Jr., Woody Harrelson, and Winona Ryder. Coming July 7th. Sci-Fi fans should be excited. The story is about a drug-abusing cop who’s given the assignment to narc on himself…

That would be a pretty good hacker if they could break in and setup subdomains! :-)

allright, I see you~ve got some bandwidth to pay for :) ,
just looked really odd on technorati and you never know when this guys come and plug a piece of code and install a virtuall subdomain (would that be possible?)

Yeah, with my uber-expensive new server, I’ve been whoring myself out to help subsidize the costs. …even with the blog ads, google ads, and this – I’m still losing money.

Sure. Btw, you do know that the content there is very likely to fall under “search engine s_p_A=M”? don~t sell yourself cheap:)

    Woody Harrelson rules!!

Btw, Phil my nick WAS in the name field when I opened comment page. There are 2 cookie files in my folder, one with my nick written in it (1)”comment_author_blah-blah” and the other one with (2)”phpbb2mysql_data blah-blah”

Cool trailer. Is that new tech, that “animation like” lines?

    Probaply inspired by Sin City…

No one is spamming anyone. I would never be part of that for any price.

The director of A Scanner Darkly did a few a while back with similar technology, “Waking Life”… (an excellent movie BTW)

And apparently the director is making a movie about one of my favourite books, Fast Food Nation. \o/

No, is not that, I’m talking about the nonsense noise and duplicated domains, farm links and other tricks to get PR and rank high on SE. I am not sure it is, you see here and judge for yourself.

    Looks good, though..

Scanner Darkly is a disturbing book…the opening is especially chilling.

I was reading ‘Valis’ on a BA flight once. At one point during the flight, I put the book down and looked across the aisle, and saw that the guy right across from me was also reading ‘Valis’! What a Phillip K. Dickian coincidence…

??What is all this about farms and fraud and military coupons? Can someone translate what is happening.

That does look cool!! We need more sci-fi.

I love Philip K. Dick, I’ve probably read about 25 of his novels and am trying to finish them all. But “Valis” I didn’t enjoy for some reason, okay well the last 50? pages or so were really good.
