New video from Jori Hulkkonen

Tags: Uncategorized — Author: @ 8:25 pm

I always thought Finland native Jori Hulkkonen only did deep house music, but this is quite different, fans of Depeche Mode or Royksopp will love this. Check out the latest track/video, “Lo-Fiction“.

Hat Tip to Iiris L. for the link!

I like it. Sure beats all those unimaginative videos that only show the band playing or the artist singing. This is something more original. I’m not saying that no-one has ever used animation in their music video, though, it just seems people often don’t use much imagination when making videos for songs, maybe it’s the pop culture: “we’ve made a new hit song, now let’s just make a video quick so it can be shown on tv.”

By the way, the URL the guy visits works: http://www.grancanaria.fi/photos/

Nice enough. What I do love is the TAC-2 joystick.

God, I miss my TAC-2 joystick.

Nice, even though the resemblance with Itse Valtiaat is a bit disturbing… ;)

And what about that juntti or puukko shirt, ha ha.

Jori is a very talented producer/artist/dj but I like his older stuff more…this is a little bit too poppish but still unique and cool.
