I just watched it and I have to admit that Nyberg was quite good.

Browsers do add the http: themselves (when you write a URI on the address bar). There’s a good reason why they don’t do it for links – and it shouldn’t matter, as anyone smart enough to link to stuff should be smart enough copy-paste the URI from the browser address bar, therefore ensuring that the URI is correct.

Not really that regular ass, it’s actually an XviD encode. All you need is an XviD codec which you can get at http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/

If you want to use Winamp, just domnload the player software from winamp.com, but at least I use Windows Media Player 10 with the XviD codec that is easy to domnload and install from http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/. After installing the codec, just open the file in Windows Media Player like normally – should work.

I haven’t usually watched that Arto Nyberg show, but at least that interview was actually quite good. For instance Juuso and Tuomas on Nelonen would have probably just screwed up the whole thing. In general, we would need a decent talk show in this country – Stiller was quite good in 1998 or something when Nelonen started, but it went down during the years as well and now most of the shows just suck.

Anyways: Miriam, just download that XviD codec as suggested above and you’ll be able to watch the clip with your Windows Media Player. It’s easy and far better than installing Winamp just for that, if you don’t use it otherwise.

And I saw the show last night….aside from the rather boring questions Nyberg asked, Conan seemed pretty tired or jetlagged. The whole bit about them going round to two random addresses from the postcards must have been interesting.

It even has 2 different media players to choose from, both of which are light on resources and basically wipe the floor with every other player.
