Finland for Thought Politics, current events, culture - In Finland & United States
Tervetuloa | Welcome As an American living in Finland, I started this blog six years ago to address the political and cultural issues in Finland and the United States - but lately this blog is just a place for me to make fun of Finns and Americans. :-)
Considering that evil, freeriding Finland, a satellite state of the Franco-German, welfare-statist axis, which created the main intellectual foundations of anti-Americanism, which wound up inspiring the Muslim terrorists who were looking for justifications to attack America, resulting in 9/11, the notion of Finnish culpability is not entirely unfounded.
If you hate a country, as much as the Finns hate the US… you will get a reaction. So why be so surprised when it happens?
Considering the threat Finland poses to U.S. A finnish diplomat visited some U.S ex-president, I don’t remember, was it Carter or Bush Sr. In the end of the conversation he asked, “Sir, while in office, did you ever made a decision concerning Finland? The president thought for a moment, “Yes, once I think…Noo, it was Norway.
I think the americans let us hear, if we really are such a pain in their asses. Meanwhile let’s relax.

The main concern now is Finnish NATO membership (and Swedish, even more so), which the US should oppose, as it doesn’t help at all to have yet another non-performing, freeriding, welfare-statist “ally” to influence NATO decision-making.
Finnish political influence in the UN and the third world must also be opposed, because of the immense damage it does to the developing world: freeriderism should not be presented as a viable option, even though Finns still think it is.
Are we making a list?

I still think the worst disaster ever to hit US is the attack of evil freeriding Finland.

Yes, because the Finns hate the US so much, the immediate American reaction was to vote for Bush. So there, evil Finns!

Its always easier to point a finger than to lift one. What have WE done to aid the cause?
