How silly to think that this case has anything to do with free speech. For what it’s worth, free speech doesn’t cover e.g. slander, libel or hate speech. Of course, libertarians sure love them all.

You may rant about them goddamn [insert your favourite racial slur] over a pint in the local suburbian räkälä all you want, but the minute you publish a book about it, you get charged. And that’s the way I like it. And no, this has nothing to do with a “thought police”.

By the way, the “slippery slope” is usually categorised as a logical fallacy in the “argumentation analysis” so very much favoured by libertarians.
