Depeche Mode in Finland

Tags: Uncategorized — Author: @ 5:07 pm

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, my all-time favorite band, Depeche Mode, is coming to Finland!! The date has been set: Helsinki, at Hartwall Arena on the 6th of March 2006. Tickets will be available on the 7th of September at Lippupalvelu. They’re coming to Tallinn on March 16th, tickets are on sale now at: www.piletilevi.ee

Depeche Mode’s new album, “Playing the Angel”, comes out in October – they’re new single, “Precious” is available for sale online. Check it out, it’s fabulous, very early/mid 80′s DM. Can’t freakin’ wait to hear the whole album.

Hat Tip to Saku S. & Iltalehti for the info

Their two previous gigs here were absolutely awesome, I can’t wait for this one! I haven’t heard their new single yet, but am definitely going to get the album!

Search around online and you’ll find the music video for the new single, “Precious”. The video sucks but the song awesome.

I think I might be reviewing the album for Nöjesguiden and Sonera Plaza…

This is hilarious. I never thought I would have anything in common with a libertarian, yet here we have Phil, who digs DM and PKD. How weird is that?

We were seperated at birth, man :-)

    Who/What is PKD?
I never thought I’d have anything in common with a libertarian, either.:) But it just goes to show that out political views are not who we are.
I listened to some old DM yesterday after not having listened to them in a long while. I never thought I’d say this, but it felt kind of nice to be a teenager again for a while.

I like them because they come from my home town and popular opinion in England says that nothing good comes out of Basildon. So DM prooves them all wrong! (I also like them ‘cos their music is quite good!)

We were seperated at birth, man

Maybe we were, but I was put in the time machine and sent five years to the past. Which of course is natural, since this is all happening in a PKD novel, right?

Ah! Philip K. Dick. Got it.

Now all we have to do is wait for last year.
