Finland for Thought
Politics, current events, culture - In Finland & United States

Tervetuloa | Welcome
As an American living in Finland, I started this blog six years ago to address the political and cultural issues in Finland and the United States - but lately this blog is just a place for me to make fun of Finns and Americans. :-)

Find out more about me from my personal or professional sites. Enjoy!

Jesus appears on piece of rye crisp in Finland!

Tags: Uncategorized — Author: Phil @ 11:52 am

Jesus appeared to a Finn on a piece of hard bread, and now you can buy it for 50 euros. Here’s my poor translation of the description…

In the evening in the kitchen at night is when the event took place. After taking a rye crisp into my hand, Jesus Christ appeared on the surface. And at that time I noticed that I could speak in different languages. When I looked at Jesus’ face, he smiled at me. The features of the face disappeared little by little. Hallelujah, it was an awesome experience!! I decided to sell this holy bread. Amen.

Hat tip to Lassi N. for the link!

  1. Before anyone gets confused again, this is obviously just a joke someone posted on huuto.net :-)

  2. Oh good grief. :-)
You had me there for a while, but just because I happen to know that there are a lot of crazy people out there. When you’re hung over and there’s nothing but dry bread in the cupboard, you are very likely to call upon Jesus for help. :-D

  3. Hey, in case someone’s still interested I managed to aquire more of those breads that once held images of Jesus and as a special FFT deal of the week I can offer a bulk buyers discount: 10 breads for the price of 9 i.e. 450 euros and 50 breads for 2000 euros. I still have some of that good old snake oil in stock, too. A toaster stencil for making Jesus toast bread should arrive soon.

    ;)
