Depeche Mode coming to Finland

Well the exact dates won’t be announced till the end of the summer, but [my all-time favorite band since I was about 9 years old] Depeche Mode will be stopping in Finland during their next tour. The new Depeche Mode album, “Playing The Angel”, is due out in October. From the looks of their official website, they won’t be hitting the nordic countries until April 2006 at the earliest.

Sweden, Norway & Finland
Depeche Mode are finalising their plans for concerts in Sweden, Norway and Finland. Dates will be announced in the late summer.

I saw the band on both of their previous visits to Finland and loved them. I have loved this band since I was a teenager and although my enthousiasm has fizzled down a bit since, I still consider myself a fan.

Yeah, in the late 90′s I switched genres of music, nowadays I need more upbeat music with a dancey beat usually – Depeche Mode are dark, mellow, not too dancey – but I still love them.
